I buy the McCormicks Seafood Rub(Herb w/Lemon) and just line a cookie sheet with foil and lighty grease it....take the catfish filets sprinkle with a little olive oil (or whatever cooking oil you have) and sprinkle the rub over them and cook at 375 degrees until they are flakey...or done to your likeness. (I like to turn the broiler on for the last few minutes of cooking..) This works well with salmon as well. I love catfish..yummy! I have also used the Mrs Dash seasonings ( I like the garlic and herb flavor) or lemon pepper or Natures Seasonings(McCormick). I also like dill with my salmon...although the guys here are really into the dill.
Yeah I need to go for the boobie exam to before the year is up. Hopefully you will get a good tech. and they won't squish ya too much..
Hope your boobie exam went well. I had mine a month ago and I've never heard from it. I'm assuming it's ok, but I've never mixed them in with Catfish!!! LOL
When I called in yesterday, they told me that I had to have my boobs checked first, and that then they would schedule a mammogram.
So I went to get the girls checked. Why am I paying someone to feel me up? hehehe (Sounds like a 'Maxine' to me). Add to that the fact that, good grief, it hurt- 'specially when she got to my dang nipples. She asked, "That hurts?" (Well here, lemme do push ups on your little nipples and see how you like it)! No I didn't say that- But I should have.
I do have an appointment for a mammogram at the end of November. (My poor little nipples will probably still be hurting from her push~n~tweaks, and then I will be paying someone to smush them too)!
Glad to hear that it went as "OK" as it could go all things considered... I think I would have said something when it started hurting... Your poor lil nipples will be smushed flat at the end of the month... Me thinks that would be WAY worse than the exam to get you to the mammogram...
They don't smush the nipples for the mammogram. Not by themselves anyway. They put the machine dang near under your ribs then proceed to smush the whole thing top to bottom, then side to side.
My boobies did not get flattened today. So save your sass! hehehe
About the recipe? I have a word for it... "Mmmmm." It is already printed out! I can't wait! Did you know that I am so partial to Parmesan? Ooh these are going to be good!
Great seasoning! I never use salt, save for where it is necessary for leavening. I love Mrs. Dash's stuff and have the fish seasoning of that too. McCormick? I buy their pepper blend- It is so good. (I honestly can't remember the last time I used regular black pepper for anything). Plus, I always use olive oil in my recipes, except when I make pancakes that is.
Speaking of pancakes... hehehe Not til the end of the month. Why do I get goosebumps just thinking of that?
hehehe And here you thought that if you google boobies and catfish you wouldn't get anything... (Come to think of it, I am going to have to try that). Later though. Way tired now.
Yeah, but no boys here! Go figure. Story of my life?
I always look for USA on all my food. The catfish is USA, so it got bought. Be warned. Anyone in their right mind would hate to go grocery shopping with me. I read cans too.
I would call in just to make sure that your boobies didn't get lost somewhere in someone else's paper shuffle. My own doctors call me, same day, with results. Gritter just had hers done, and even getting the phone call scared her. Later she also received notice in her mailbox that all was well. She said she didn't even want to open that envelope. Us women are funny that way, eh?
So you've never mixed them with catfish? Guess you'll have to wait for the pictures! hehehe j/k
well that is a strange combination for sure... catfish and boobs lol
ReplyDeleteHope the exam went well.
