Casey and Kelli, after walking the dogs.
Good Morning All;
Frost advisory still going on- It is currently 34 degrees. Brrr...
Casey begins her infusion treatment for her anemia this morning. Friend Marsha will be bringing her.
Also Kelli and Tim's home and barn being razed today to make way for construction to begin.
Hope your Mom's Day was super special! Mine was with Casey coming out, bearing food and gifts! My magician animals (not sure which) made my food disappear. Heads will roll when I see sprouts in poop. hehehe
Jenné called. Boys are good.
Did not hear from Roberta or Zoé. (No surprise with those two, right)? Oh well.
Must get ready to face the day!
Have a good one!
XOXO
Me
hope Casey's thingy go es well. It is amazing how food disappears isn't it
ReplyDeleteDear Annie,
ReplyDeletePrayers for Casey. I hope the procedure goes well and helps with the anemia.
I know of which you speak with the magicians. When you think all is safe, POOF!!!
Glad you heard from two of the kids. I got to speak to all of mine yesterday but missed catching my Mother. BOY will I hear about that but I did call, got her voicemail.
It got to 33 here. No frost that I can see, thank goodness as Rick got me some cute hens and chicks for Mother's Day and I didn't get them covered.
OXOX Dear Annie,
Snotball.
I'm already whining about the heat here, gosh poor Casey one thing after another, I'm so so sorry her little body goes through so much, its heart breaking , yet she is so so strong through every procedure, I heard from three out of four with my kids, of course not a gift came by, per usual.
ReplyDelete*hugs*
ReplyDeletei ended up working yesterday... got home too late to call anyone back east.....
Hope your day is good!
XOXOXOOX

Glad you had a nice mother's day .. I hope all goes well with Casey and this procedure .. I worked last night 10 hrs * groans* but my daughter left me a voice mail and she sent out a card for me with my sister so I was happy with that ..
ReplyDelete{{hugs}}
ReplyDeleteCasey and Kelli "Look" cold too!
ReplyDeleteGlad our Miss Casey came through for you on Mothers Day. She does appreciate her mom for sure.
Well....any idea as of yet which critter et the viddles? :)
ya'll can keep that cold stuff....brrrrr! they are making me cold.
ReplyDeleteMy "magician" here is a 2 legged critter..
I heard out of 2 of the 3...of course the one here in the house wished all the Mom's on his Facebook page Happy Mothers Day..before he remembered to wish me mine( which he remembered at 3 am Monday morning)..lol
Time for bed..nite!
ReplyDeleteSweeTee;
That food was just so yummy. Kelli and Tim had stopped by, and rather than eat in front of them, I covered my plate up. With a napkin.
Not even close to being good enough...
Casey is alright, thank you much! ;-)

Heya Sweet Snotball,
ReplyDeleteI am happy you got back online without having to swim to the library or something...
I don't think they do any further blood testing until after her 2nd or 3rd infusion.
Yesterday was bad for her. (It didn't have to go that way either). I will blog later about that one.
But like I said, she is OK.
I am giggling at you missing your mom with the phone calls and all. Mom was more like me. She would say it didn't matter... But you knew it did. hehehe
I generally don't, won't, cover anything. Unless I have planted it that same year- or started from seeds in the basement. Hey, if it croaks at 33 it shouldn't be living in Wisconsin.
Still giggling...
XOXO
Me
ReplyDeleteSweet Pam-
I do believe I hate heat more than cold. You can only remove so many clothes to cool off. Whereas with cold, at least one can dress up (and out).
Methinks Casey is a walking, talking advertisement for any medical journal. And what an inspiration!

Hugs right backatcha Sweet Pea;
ReplyDeleteDon't be upset about making a few dollars, you silly girl!
Just be upset that 'late' came too early.

Sweet Carolyn;
ReplyDelete10 hours... Wow. I really would have hated that! (And I always tried to schedule someone else to work on Moms Day). It didn't always work, but even when it didn't I was still home shortly after 3pm.
XOXO

ReplyDeleteBack to you also Sweet Suzy!

They really were Sweet PeachieBaby!
ReplyDeleteAnd we should have had on our Winter coats too. (I knew I shouldn't have hung them upstairs already).
I was, and am, blessed with Casey's presence in my life. And to think I almost had my tubes tied after I had Roberta!
I don't know who the culprit was! And no, I really am not going to look for sprouts. hehehe
XOXO

ReplyDeleteSweetie,
