Casey will be having some surgery, locally, as early as next week.
I will explain more in a very private blog on here soon.

This surgery, compared to her TP/AIT, is minor. Yet, to hear the doctor here speak, it is major. He will be contacting Dr. Sutherland before scheduling this.

    Thank you all for your positive energies, and OH such good thoughts too!
    You have all been through this journey with us both; and always always keeping me sane with it all.
    We still do not have a solid date; though Casey spent the afternoon yesterday trying to get everything straightened out.
    I will post that blog as soon as I know definitely when this will happen.

    At the very least, she has had so very much explained to her- The why's and the reasons for her pain.

    We STILL know nothing as far as a 'date' goes...
    The tribe is still trying to push it back to October. Her doctor (GP) is fairly certain that to have her wait, sans spleen, is to obviously play some kind of roulette with her health...
    Still, once the tribal clinic has referred her elsewhere, they have pretty much washed their hands of her care. In addition, the specialist surgeon she was referred to cannot, and is not the one who is to, provide close monitoring...

    Such a damnable mess...
