The Casey- The Cat- and The Canine-
"Kids"
Just thought I would post a quick update before I turn on the tv.
Casey will be getting her insulin pump. She must take her readings 3 or 4 times each day, then they will put that data into her machine and VIOLA! she will have a fairly accurate pump!
This should be in about 2 weeks or so.
her islet cells are struggling due to her skin infection, her ulcer, and her pain.
As you all know she has been struggling too, to just feel a little better.
This week- yes an entire week, straight through for her- has brought some very good news; so she is really looking forward to how she feels by next month... or so.
"GO CASEY!"
My appointment also went very well! My doctor was as nice to me in person as he had been in his letter to me.
All is well, (and I do not have to go in search of a new pain specialist)! hehehe
So y'all remember what I had written about Clintonville, WI?
Click here if ya missed it.
As it turns out, these BOOMS and BANGS really were an earthquake!
This is quite 'new' even according to the USGS.
So.... what happens now?!? A new fault line perhaps?
And I thought Wisconsin was relatively 'safe'; even with respect to the New Madrid fault...
Oh well.
Lots more info from Channel 11. Click.
And a wee bit more from the USGS. Click.
My sister, the Dear Sweet SissyKrissiePoo, has sent me a photo of the damage.
Downright scary huh?
But they have grit, determination and resolve!
But they have grit, determination and resolve!
*** At this point they are not seeking any donations... hehehe
Nighty-Night
Have a 'wunnaful' weekend, all!

A 1.5 on the Richter scale? That's about the equivalent of falling out of bed.
ReplyDeleteStill. It's Wisconsin.
Offhand I'd say we're all doomed...
OMG! Mr. WhatZit;
ReplyDeleteI canNOT believe that you are making fun of my sisters misfortune!
How sad.
Phlllllttttttttt!
Thor forgive me, I failed to see the disaster that overcame that poor lawn chair!
ReplyDeletePunk always looks Happy when she has her Human sister and feline friend by her side.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear things are "looking Up" a bit for Casey and for you.
Not sure what to say about the earthquake situation. Looks like we may all be in for a big ride this year. Of some kind or another, huh. In the mean time....I'm keep chanting...THOSE PREDICTIONS FOR 2012 ARE WRONG...THOSE PREDICTIONS FOR 2012 ARE WRONG. ( i hope )
:)
ReplyDeleteROTF!!!

Heya Sweet PeachieBaby!
ReplyDeleteWhere have you been???
Punk and Casey-
There is a HUGE change in Punk when Casey is around. She loves her so...
The earthquake keeps happening- Weird that 'aftershocks' would go on this long? Or no?
Heck, I don't know- The only other time it happened, the epicenter was WAAAAAY south of here.
The dogs knew though, raising quite a weird noise that night...
No worries about 2012.
If we croak it will be because of human stupidity; and not because of ancient prophecies by the Mayans so long ago.

Anne, itt's just another early warning sign of the forthcoming Apocylpse.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't get too excited about it unless the Cubs win the World Series.
(I think we're all still safe for quite a while, if not forever.)
ps - My apologies, Peachie, had intended in my brainfog to direct this missive more in the direction of Anna... oh well.....it still holds true, I think.
Oh. Well. Even though mis-sent, it would appear to yet be visible to Anne and the rest of her blog-fans... Am I not unwrong about that, Anne?
You mocked the quakes one too many times! They are coming for you now!!!!
ReplyDeleteXOXOXOXOX

Auntie should get an insurance adjuster out immediately!!!! I hope it was all well documented... Just imagine having to get through all of that!
ReplyDeleteAnywho, it IS rather fishy that they said it wasn't an earthquake when it had happened. Made a point to say that they had no idea what it was, then all of a sudden they pull those statements and say "yep, it's an earthquake"... Not like they could go back in time and get better information by studying it at a deeper depth... And especially with the equipment that we have these days, they would've known right away it's an earthquake...
Then again, I am a disbeliever in the Single Bullet Theory, too...
Really hoping our own hopes on me feeling better will come true... These past few days the pain has been truly bad, making eating even more dreaded than it was before. Yes, I do eat, just twice a day at the most, and soft foods as I have no teeth yet, but today is (I believe) the final appointment before they order the dentures! Then, hopefully, my stomach problems will get a little better; plus, I'll be able to smile for your pictures and look pretty!
Well, I'm off to bed to sleep a bit, and will see you a bit after noon so we can go together!
Love you MUCH MUCH!
